Seeing this process repeatedly, we know it is not an easy one, and involves the division and liquidation of many sentimental family items.
We are always recommending assisted living facilities to our clients, as this transition is often the next step after using our services. We will work on behalf of your facility as a vendor to continue your customer service off-site. We work directly with the families to offer assistance in any part of this process they need help with, making their transition into your care happen smoothly and quickly. Family members are often overwhelmed by number of steps involved in this process, but our company can handle all of them.
We can appraise all personal property to determine the value for tax or estate purposes. Any items of personal value to the family can be put aside, followed by an initial cleanout of the remaining non-valuable items. We will offer to either purchase, sell, or auction any valuable items on behalf of the family. We then offer a final cleanout, so that the property is real estate ready, and can list and sell the property. This makes the transition into assisted living streamlined and fully settled before they enter your care.
We also offer our services for everything left in the home or facility after a person has left your care.
We have our license and sell properties with Century 21 North East, but frequently work with other realtors as partners, and not competitors. If we are contacted by a real estate agent we will agree to never sell the property you refer us to.
We get all of the personal property in the home either removed or sold, and leave you with a real estate ready home. When your client tells you they can’t list the property because they have a lot of stuff left in the house, contact us.
Like you, we also remove junk and clean out homes and businesses for a living. But we also work with junk removal companies by either purchasing or consigning any resell-able or re-usable items you may find.
Together, our businesses are the most sensible partnership. If you recognize a site you are working at has many resell-able items, we can come sort through and remove the items ourselves. We can also offer the owners a whole house estate sale.
Alternatively, if you find valuable items, you may bring them to our warehouse, and we will either buy them outright or put them into an auction. Part of our business is assisting those who have recently lost a friend or family member. While funeral homes deal with the physical body of the person passed on, we deal with all the possessions. We understand that having to say goodbye to a loved one and their possessions can be difficult. Funeral homes find it convenient to offer our services in conjunction with theirs, in order to make this as easy on families as possible. We will handle one aspect of this difficult process while you handle another.
We understand that when a business or restaurant is closing it can be a tough time for the owners to get everything done in a short amount of time.
